Thanks for the tutorial. I have very little experience doing this kind of stuff, but I am interested and want to try it. Can you provide a link for a 5×7 project board?
I used a dremel tool to cut that board from a larger project board. You can get these boards almost anywhere. The important thing to remember is to get one that is one-sided; these are usually much cheaper anyway. The holes should be in a “2.54MM” or “0.1”” or “100 mil” (all three are the same thing) square grid pattern.
Thanks. Do you happen to have a link to the capacitor? The link you have there now is actually a duplicate link pointing to the IC socket. I tried looking up a capacitor on Digikey and there are so many options. I have no idea which ones to choose.
